Located in the Industry City complex in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, this office space was designed as a community and creative incubator.
The main concept of the space was to focus on encouraging interaction and collaboration between the incubator members. The heart of this was in the boardroom turned “dining room” that was inspired by the idea of family dining style in restaurants.
The lower level contains a modern industrial style lounge, cafe, gallery, collaboration space, and a fabrication lab, which includes laser cutters, plotters, 3D printers, and a small photography darkroom. The upper level takes an office interpretation of the industrial style and provides quieter work spaces, collaboration rooms, desks, and other amenities.
